When clicking a PDF attached to a message on the NEW outlook 2023 ( Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.427.500 (Production) Client Version is 20230421002.12) ,There is a Preview screen that opens to the left of the message with the PDF.
If I would like, for instance, to sign or add text to the PDF document I have received , there is no way I can open it in Adobe Acrobat unless I download, save to my PC (also very complicated...see my previous question in this forum) and then double click to open.
Can someone direct me please to a better way?

Hello,
Wondering if there have been any improvements regarding the matter.
This is an issue for me too. Outlook should allow for attachments especially PDFs to be opened using the default program.

The functionality is present in the old version of outlook, where one of the file options is "open in Adobe acrobat". Can't you please implement it as well in the new version of outlook so that we can use that one instead of the rather useless light version preview option?
Not that I can tell. I am here searching this issue to see if there is a fix and this thread is the top result...
