When clicking a PDF attached to a message on the NEW outlook 2023 ( Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.427.500 (Production) Client Version is 20230421002.12) ,There is a Preview screen that opens to the left of the message with the PDF.
If I would like, for instance, to sign or add text to the PDF document I have received , there is no way I can open it in Adobe Acrobat unless I download, save to my PC (also very complicated...see my previous question in this forum) and then double click to open.
Can someone direct me please to a better way?

I just found out the solution on another forum, tried it and works just fine, so here it is:
After you tell new outlook to download something, it should pop up a downloads box with the file in it. Right click on this file - select "Always open with system viewer."
Hope it works for all of you as it worked for me.

Thank you for this information, I tried it out but it doesn´t work as your descripted. Can you add some pictures for more understand.
This is not a solution to the issue.
I do not want to download and then open it.
I want to view it like the current working Outlook does, without extra steps.
This is a programming issue, not a user issue.
