Opening PDF document in Adobe Acrobat from new Outlook 2023

When clicking a PDF attached to a message on the NEW outlook 2023 ( Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.427.500 (Production) Client Version is 20230421002.12) ,There is a Preview screen that opens to the left of the message with the PDF.

If I would like, for instance, to sign or add text to the PDF document I have received , there is no way I can open it in Adobe Acrobat unless I download, save to my PC (also very complicated...see my previous question in this forum) and then double click to open.

Can someone direct me please to a better way?

That sounds promising. Thanks for sharing! Hopefully, it doesn't take them a ton more time to consider and then develop the fix.

I just received a message stating that opening in a third-party app is being considered.

Holy cow, seriously! This doesn't seem like that difficult of a fix. I'm starting to believe they have a beef with Adobe and are purposely making it difficult to open things directly in their products.

Looking forward to the one year anniversary next week of Microsoft doing absolutely nothing about this issue.
