When clicking a PDF attached to a message on the NEW outlook 2023 ( Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.427.500 (Production) Client Version is 20230421002.12) ,There is a Preview screen that opens to the left of the message with the PDF.
If I would like, for instance, to sign or add text to the PDF document I have received , there is no way I can open it in Adobe Acrobat unless I download, save to my PC (also very complicated...see my previous question in this forum) and then double click to open.
Can someone direct me please to a better way?

I am going to do the same. I was really trying to make it work. Also not being unable to download to a folder of my choosing sucks.

Sounds pretty spot on!
Agree. I have given up on "New Outlook" and reverted to the tried and true version.
Which is two steps more than the regular Outlook. Basically having to "download" it.
