When clicking a PDF attached to a message on the NEW outlook 2023 ( Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.427.500 (Production) Client Version is 20230421002.12) ,There is a Preview screen that opens to the left of the message with the PDF.
If I would like, for instance, to sign or add text to the PDF document I have received , there is no way I can open it in Adobe Acrobat unless I download, save to my PC (also very complicated...see my previous question in this forum) and then double click to open.
Can someone direct me please to a better way?

This is an issue for me too. Outlook should allow for attachments especially PDFs to be opened using the default program.

Huge oversight for Microsoft. I open PDF's to edit AND a ton of other software. I always liked the option that was linked to the file extension that opened each application as needed. Beyond frustrated with this newly created outlook.
Please correct so I can start using new outlook.
