I was having an issue figuring out how the spell check worked. My coworker said when you are in a New Message window, and the Message tab, at the top far right of the ribbon, click the "..." and go down to Editor, and then Editor Settings.

At first, when I tried this, Editor was greyed out, but it might have been because I was already in the middle of composing an email. When I opened a new message I was able to get to the Editor Settings.

All the settings were already enabled, but it seemed I had to open the Editor settings at least once for it to "activate" Now spell check works in my Outlook.

Right-clicking a misspelled word won't work. You have to left-click the word to see the spell-check suggestions.

    Why was this version even released with out a working spell check? I understand getting a product out there, but this is a huge miss. This is the same type of decisions that makes Edge a nonstarter. It has some cool new features, but ignores the core of what it should be good at. People want a basic work processor that we send emails from. Build from there.

    I followed these steps and my 'editor' (and spellcheck) is now active and working.

    • However, I'm befuddled that a necessary tool (editor/spellcheck) is buried in sub menus.

    Note: - Close the Outlook app and re-launch it and check the status for editor settings.

    Spell check doesn't work either side click, and I am REQUIRED fo use this shitshow, it has been an issue for over a YEAR, THIS is not Tesla, get **** fixed
