I was having an issue figuring out how the spell check worked. My coworker said when you are in a New Message window, and the Message tab, at the top far right of the ribbon, click the "..." and go down to Editor, and then Editor Settings.

At first, when I tried this, Editor was greyed out, but it might have been because I was already in the middle of composing an email. When I opened a new message I was able to get to the Editor Settings.

All the settings were already enabled, but it seemed I had to open the Editor settings at least once for it to "activate" Now spell check works in my Outlook.

Right-clicking a misspelled word won't work. You have to left-click the word to see the spell-check suggestions.

    In reference to this doc, (New Outlook for Windows Preview (office.com)) Rich editing, spelling, and auto complete suggestions powered by Microsoft Editor were automatically added to the New Outlook version. There is no specific setting to turn this on. We do apologize if we are not able to meet your requirements.

    However, the new Outlook is still a work in progress.     I also was disappointed that capitol letters to start new sentences is not in the "new" Outlook

    The auto-correct spelling doesn't seem to be as good in the new Outlook. And I am learning how much my spelling has deteriorated over the years!!! And how good I am at mis-typing!

    Spell checking does not work in the New Outlook, apparently this is a new "feature". So far I'm really disappointed in the latest, beta, version of Outlook. That said the biggest problem I've found is that the ability to revert to the old "current" version has disappeared.

    I guess that's my question:

    How can I get back to the "current" revision of outlook and reinstall Microsoft Mail? I mean short of uninstalling Outlook and probably losing all my mailboxes etc.?
