I was having an issue figuring out how the spell check worked. My coworker said when you are in a New Message window, and the Message tab, at the top far right of the ribbon, click the "..." and go down to Editor, and then Editor Settings.

At first, when I tried this, Editor was greyed out, but it might have been because I was already in the middle of composing an email. When I opened a new message I was able to get to the Editor Settings.

All the settings were already enabled, but it seemed I had to open the Editor settings at least once for it to "activate" Now spell check works in my Outlook.

Right-clicking a misspelled word won't work. You have to left-click the word to see the spell-check suggestions.

    It doesn't automatically correct the spelling. Nor does it automatically correct punctuation or "wordiness". These features are truly helpful when trying to maintain a consistent speed of work.

    "Rich editing, spelling, and auto complete suggestions powered by Microsoft Editor were automatically added to the New Outlook version. There is no specific setting to turn this on. We do apologize if we are not able to meet your requirements.

    However, the new Outlook is still a work in progress."

    Does this still apply in April 2024 (1 year later)?

    What kind of email account(s) do you have? If you have a corporate Exchange account, the admins can turn the other options off. If you do NOT have a corporate account, there does not appear to be a good reason for the missing options to be absent, it may be a bug and as such should be reported.

    I run New Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2024.403.300 (Production). Client Version is 20240329006.06 Home

    I enabled HTML for email, In privacy Turned on experiences that analyze your content and Turned on experiences that download online content

    I am now getting spelling suggestions.....
