I was having an issue figuring out how the spell check worked. My coworker said when you are in a New Message window, and the Message tab, at the top far right of the ribbon, click the "..." and go down to Editor, and then Editor Settings.

At first, when I tried this, Editor was greyed out, but it might have been because I was already in the middle of composing an email. When I opened a new message I was able to get to the Editor Settings.

All the settings were already enabled, but it seemed I had to open the Editor settings at least once for it to "activate" Now spell check works in my Outlook.

Right-clicking a misspelled word won't work. You have to left-click the word to see the spell-check suggestions.

    I also am frustrated that New Outlook highlights typo errors in email but for each just suggest 'emoji' as an alternative which is clearly stupid!

    Also it has not imported or give access to my People App and does not autofill any emails that I have used in MAIL.

    I had guessed that MAIL would be discontinued as there have been many glitches not corrected for many many months, but New Outlook is just not good enough to force on the public in the version!

    Auto-spell check doesn't work in the new outlook. I have gone to the settings in a "new" email, which shows the spell check to be on, but it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

    Hi

    Thanks for this and it would be great if emails were not sent with spelling errors and you were warned as in the older version. Otherwise this new version is pretty good.

    I am also very disappointed in NO spellcheck in the New Outlook. I have now been forced to use the New OUTLOOK. I cannot switch back. I am like everyone else on this post VERY DISAPOINTED.
