I was having an issue figuring out how the spell check worked. My coworker said when you are in a New Message window, and the Message tab, at the top far right of the ribbon, click the "..." and go down to Editor, and then Editor Settings.

At first, when I tried this, Editor was greyed out, but it might have been because I was already in the middle of composing an email. When I opened a new message I was able to get to the Editor Settings.

All the settings were already enabled, but it seemed I had to open the Editor settings at least once for it to "activate" Now spell check works in my Outlook.

Right-clicking a misspelled word won't work. You have to left-click the word to see the spell-check suggestions.

    This is the only thing that has helped me. I went in and changed a few things selected (nothing to do with a spellcheck/auto-correct) but after saving my new settings, the spellcheck option/dropdown started working. I'm not sure how this helped or worked but thank you for pointing me towards the three dots, Editor, Editor Settings.

    Not being able to highlight a word to spellcheck is a HUGE inconvenience. As Outlook constantly saves a DRAFT, if I leave the message to respond to something else, then go back to the email draft I was working on, a misspelled word is red-dot underlined but NOTHING I do will bring up a suggestion for the correct spelling.

    This is a feature EVERY piece of software I've have ever used has this basic feature.

    Microsoft, come on now!

    At this point I'll have to agree with you Derek. I was "forced" into the change and I'm definitely disappointed.
