I was having an issue figuring out how the spell check worked. My coworker said when you are in a New Message window, and the Message tab, at the top far right of the ribbon, click the "..." and go down to Editor, and then Editor Settings.

At first, when I tried this, Editor was greyed out, but it might have been because I was already in the middle of composing an email. When I opened a new message I was able to get to the Editor Settings.

All the settings were already enabled, but it seemed I had to open the Editor settings at least once for it to "activate" Now spell check works in my Outlook.

Right-clicking a misspelled word won't work. You have to left-click the word to see the spell-check suggestions.

    So, the question I asked so long about the lack of spell-check in the new and not-too-improved Outlook continues to go without a fix.

    I found one that did work: uninstall the "new" & unworkable Outlook and then reinstall the prior working version. However, it has been so long ago that I did this, I no longer recall the particulars.

    There certainly is good company in containing to make this complaint. Maybe one day, far, far away, MS will correct this.

    For the time being, 1.2024.306.400 (Production) and client **20240308003.10 spell check does NOT work.**I wonder if Microsoft is aware of this. It should be a function that works in the same way in every program (teams, office, outlook, and even now that I am writing in edge!!!).

    So, I've been reading the posts here, but none of the solutions proposed seem to work.

    What to do?

    Yes. I have been using the "new" version of Outlook for 15 minutes and I have spent the last 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get to my "old" Outlook. No spell check stinks!
