I was having an issue figuring out how the spell check worked. My coworker said when you are in a New Message window, and the Message tab, at the top far right of the ribbon, click the "..." and go down to Editor, and then Editor Settings.

At first, when I tried this, Editor was greyed out, but it might have been because I was already in the middle of composing an email. When I opened a new message I was able to get to the Editor Settings.

All the settings were already enabled, but it seemed I had to open the Editor settings at least once for it to "activate" Now spell check works in my Outlook.

Right-clicking a misspelled word won't work. You have to left-click the word to see the spell-check suggestions.

    I found that spell check was not working when I worked on "within the Outlook window" but when I expanded the message into its own window, spellcheck worked as it should.

    You are totally incorrect in your statement. The new outlook will underline a missspelled word in red, indicating it's miss spelled.

    You can't right click, left click, or do anything else to prompt to have it actually fix the spelling.

    This is a huge oversight.

    Da spel chek dus underlyne the mispelled wurd, but it dus not offur sugestions for corections or alow you to corect it by left cliking or rite cliking. So the statment is not TOTALLY incorrct.

    I've switched to the 'new' outlook version just last week, and now it's removed auto spell check!! I cannot find ANYWHERE where to turn on spell check again. It literally will not pick up any misspelt words I write. Even basic things like capitalising an 'i' which the old version used to do automatically.

    Does anyone have any ideas how I can turn on spell check?

    Correct, there was a button to change back to current Outlook and MS mail. I don't recall any discussion of a time-limit, maybe it was there. Thing is, this is "beta" and there shouldn't be a time limit to revert back to the current version for that reason alone.... I mean this is just an app, not a full-blown OS rev.

    Oddly enough I've never jumped to a beta version of software before; after this experience, I'll never do it again.
