I was having an issue figuring out how the spell check worked. My coworker said when you are in a New Message window, and the Message tab, at the top far right of the ribbon, click the "..." and go down to Editor, and then Editor Settings.

At first, when I tried this, Editor was greyed out, but it might have been because I was already in the middle of composing an email. When I opened a new message I was able to get to the Editor Settings.

All the settings were already enabled, but it seemed I had to open the Editor settings at least once for it to "activate" Now spell check works in my Outlook.

Right-clicking a misspelled word won't work. You have to left-click the word to see the spell-check suggestions.

    Hi, The tall One,

    Sorry you cannot get Editor and spellings with actions I have posted.

    Works fine for me. I am on Windows 10 desktop not Windows11 like you and not sure if that makes a difference.

    Just found it. It is called Editor in a new office. Once in the Message menu click on ... (three dots) in the ribbon, then find Editor > Editor settings (Message> ... >Editor>Editor settings). There you will be able to add a vocabulary for the language you want to check grammar.

    One thing I agree, this should be searchable and located in general settings as it was before. And called Spelling, not some Editor.

    I installed the NEW OUTLOOK and I don't have a spell or grammar checker anymore. I used the old outlook and mail previously and never had an issue. How could you do this? You're supposed to make things right when you issue a new email application; especially when the older Email apps worked fine. Poor quality control if you ask me. It's a sign of the times.
