How do you recall an email sent on this new Outlook version 1.2023.427.500?

I would like to know if the option for RECALL emails will available in this new version of Outlook.

This user-to-user forum isn't the place to find answers to that type of questions. People in a decision making capacity at Microsoft do not read messages in the forum.

What you can do is send feedback via Help > Feedback in the new Outlook.

Hi everyone. I'm the originator of the question posted here on how to recall a message in the new Outlook. I suggest everyone trying out the new Outlook revert back to the previous version you had by clicking the toggle button on the upper rigtht corner. The reason for reverting back are: 1) you can't recall a message, 2) you can't copy and paste something from Excel into Outlook by having the option to keep the same format or other types of format,, 3) you can't save an email to a folder by clicking on File--->Save As

I think with just these three things you can't do in the new Outlook, is not worth using the new Outlook. I hope they are just testing the new Outlook and realize the many things they left out without any logical reason. Also, I know this is not a formal way to inform the Microsoft team about these issues, but if anyone here knows of someone working at Microsoft, let them know please. And yes, I did send a feedback using the Outlook feedback button.

Alternative solution:
What I've been doing is using the new version (Outlook 'Pre') and then opening the old version (Outlook) when I need to do something that I cannot in the new version. I'm able to access and have both old and new versions open at the same time.

It's an annoyance to go open the old version just to do those few things that cannot be done in the new version, but it's at least another work around until MS sorts out the new version.

Hi Eric. That would work, yet, I'm reluctant to use two versions of Outlook. I think that if I'm using two versions of Outlook, with all due respect, then Microsoft should pay me to use both versions. Its almost like if I'm test driving both versions just because the new version lacks the basic functions that no one at Microsoft should have removed to begin with.

An anology is driving two cars. The new car drives only forward. The old car drives forward and backwards. Now with the new car, I need to somehow jump into the old car that I hooked up to the new car, and then drive the old car backwards, whenever I want to go back. LMAO

I suggest, just staying with the old Outlook that is much better...does it all.

Please bring back the recall!!!!!
