New Outlook - Auto Capitalization

I have switched over to the "New Outlook" and some functions did not switch over also. How do I turn on the auto capitalization of the 1st word of a sentence? How do I turn back on auto capitalizing the letter i? Thank you for any help!!!!

    So I was using my surface as a tablet and typing on screen. The auto capitalization is working (mostly) from that key board. But still, I type on the physical keyboard more than on the screen so it's still a dumb thing that this was removed... Makes you wonder if this is a subtle shift to move away from keyboards all together...

    Fix this Microsoft for crying out loud.

    Why has this not been fixed??? Every other email application has this feature and you all decide to remove it from yours?

    Utter joke that this isn't an option..

    From what I can see and have been reading about this issue in some MS forums . ,Has it really been over a year to fix what is relatively easy and needed and still no signs of being resolved

    no one in their right mind would have given feedback saying no to capitalizing the first word or I - outright lie. the stupidest thing ever. i purposely didn't capitalize here :P

    What a joke. thanks for wasting my time. i switched to new outlook only to find the auto cap doesn't work and isn't even an option..... so not only did i take the time to switch but i burned and hour messing around in settings. Thanks a lot morons!
