New Outlook - Auto Capitalization

I have switched over to the "New Outlook" and some functions did not switch over also. How do I turn on the auto capitalization of the 1st word of a sentence? How do I turn back on auto capitalizing the letter i? Thank you for any help!!!!

    Any update on the posters issue? Has this been escalated? 60+ replies and over 150 others "having the same issue" in this one thread alone, and there are multiple threads about this.

    Auto-Capitalize needs to come back, Sentence Case is not an alternative, users are switching back to the old Outlook because of this.

    Yes sir! Will not use the new Outlook until this is fixed. To be sure, this is the epitome of a "first-world problem", but it seems so easy to solve and makes work life so much easier.

    OMG this is so STUPID!! If you've previously corrected the lowercase stand alone 'i' to 'I" in all prior versions of outlook, why on earth would you suddenly decide not to do so?!!? And PLEASE, don't insult my intelligence by saying it's a feature - that's BS!!

    Consider all of these complaints on this post a signal to you to FIX THIS NOW!!!!

    Right now, your new version of outlook S-U-C-K-S!!!!!! It is J-A-N-K-Y!!!!

    I completely agree, this is nonsense....I stopped using Gmail and Yahoo for the same reason and now this....I expect better from Microsoft... PLEASE FIX THIS.

    Hi Tammy,

    To this date was it fix it?

    I have a person on my work with this problem and cant find a way to re enable Auto Capitalization for firts words when a new email is created
