New Outlook - Auto Capitalization

I have switched over to the "New Outlook" and some functions did not switch over also. How do I turn on the auto capitalization of the 1st word of a sentence? How do I turn back on auto capitalizing the letter i? Thank you for any help!!!!

    I keep trying the new Outlook, but the functionality really is letting it down. No capitalisation, a rigmarole for attaching files and photos - really, this needs to be addressed if you want people to use the new outlook more

    I agree... it seems all the windows software is going the route of over simplifying everything in exchange for little to no real world functionality... they have dropped the ball on this... Its still not fixed in 2024...

    Not only this, but after trying the new Outlook for several days I discovered several other inconvenient omissions. New Outlook = New Coke (for those of us who grew up in or remember the '80s).

    I have spent hours trying to figure out how to capitalize the first letter of a sentence. this is ridiculous!

    I had to stop using Outlook App b/c my company email goes through Gmail and they don't mesh at all...I thought this was the answer.

    And now i see it's been going on for months!! We aren't in the 80's anymore, using typewriters. Get it together Microsoft!!

    This needs to be resolved! As a company that should understand basic English grammar i is always capital. as well as starting a sentence and after a full stop! no idea how this could be missed even for a test product. Crazy... you telling me everyone in Microsoft is now spending their time fixing simple grammar errors...
