I have switched over to the "New Outlook" and some functions did not switch over also. How do I turn on the auto capitalization of the 1st word of a sentence? How do I turn back on auto capitalizing the letter i? Thank you for any help!!!!

I agree!! this is absolutly frustrating. auto capitalization has a been a microsoft function for many, many years. you are asking everyone to have add an extra step while typing.
PUT IT BACK!
Nearly the end of the year and this is still a problem. The only thing good about the new outlook is the fact that it is not constantly in “not responding“ mode. My standalone outlook software purchased with the Microsoft office package purchased several years ago is constantly “not responding“.
I understand that software developers need to justify their jobs by constantly tweaking and re-designing current applications. I would like to see them fixing known issues and/or looking for issues. Not everything needs a redesign. But I do realize that if you stop maintaining the usual stuff, no one will use the new stuff. That’s what Apple does when they want you to get a new phone they quit maintaining your old phone.
I also heard about a survey that says the younger generations don’t capitalize or use punctuation often. It’s no wonder they’re so misunderstood. If you don’t use good grammar people can’t understand you.
My vote is to fix the new outlook to function the same as the old outlook.
Hi How do you turn on sentence case in outlook that I use in SharePoint. the manual feature is there, but I want it to be automated as with all other windows apps.
