New Outlook - Auto Capitalization

I have switched over to the "New Outlook" and some functions did not switch over also. How do I turn on the auto capitalization of the 1st word of a sentence? How do I turn back on auto capitalizing the letter i? Thank you for any help!!!!

    +1 that this needs to be fixed. I did not realize how much I realized on the auto correct for capitalization until I started using new outlook this week for Copilot. Please add this back in ASAP, same way it's in the current Outlook. Help save my shift key...

    This is the number one complaint everyone has about new outlook. I hope it is remedied soon!

    Agree with the other commenters, this is a woefully unacceptable answer. I have yet to find one positive thing about switching to "New" Outlook or Teams when many of the most basic functions have been removed.

    Its been 7 months since the original post and still unable to autocorrect, how is this not fixed??? SORT IT OUT MICROSOFT
