Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

To the Microsoft software developers/engineers. STOP. REMOVING. FEATURES. This, the ability to copy calendar appointments from a shared calendar over to my own. I'm barely 5 minutes into using "new Outlook" and I already hate it. Lately every time I'm forced to upgrade to a "new and improved" version of something I get less and less functionality that actually matters. Features I rely on daily in the course of my work. It is frustrating beyond all measure. If you're going to "improve" something, that it needs to actually IMPROVE upon the original, not hamstring it and the people who use it.

Tried updating registry for public preview. Can see new notifications on OneNote about loop components etc, so I know it’s applied but not seeing any new favourite option as suggested from other user.

The favourites section now ‘floats’ when it didn’t before but that’s about it.

Hard to say if it would behave diffidently if the shared folders I want to favour are in the main account as apposed to my office 365 basic account. (Licence for office apps provided via work’s licence).

Two years later, I have the same problem. I need to see multiple inboxes at a glance from shared folders. I've just been compulsorily switched to the new outlook and it's ruined my day.

I agree that this needs to be added - will be switching back to the old outlook until this is a feature - a must for our company!

I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

Hello. just click on three dots in "Favourites", select "Add new favourite item", then type name of shared folder/account
