Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

I also wonder what exactly mounting means. The current Outlook already adds shared mailboxes automatically when you are given access to it.

What a bummer! There's really no solution to this? If one cannot easily view that new emails have been received into a shared email box, it will create a huge issue with answering the emails to customers. I hope that Microsoft finds a solution quickly. I will be reverting back to the "OLD" Outlook because I can still be productive with my co-workers.

Yes we also need to be able to favourite shared folders. We could not work without this function.

This is very frustrating as we use our shared mailboxes in our charity all the time. It is much more time consuming and easy to miss new emails not being able to favourite the shared mail inbox.

If there is anything that can be done to add this feature back in that would be great. In the meantime I will have to go back to using the old Outlook.

I am surprised that such a frequently used standard feature has not been implemented yet.

We cannot use the "New Outlook" if folders from shared mailboxes cannot be added to favorites.

Also, shared mailboxes folders do not seem to update automatically yet either.
You have to click on each folder individually or close and reopen Outlook to see if new mails have arrived.
Are we back in 1999 now or what's going on here?
