Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

I too have this issue.

It is important for my work to access a variety of shared inboxes. This is crucial feature on the old version of Outlook, thus the "New Outlook" becomes unusable to me.

Please consider adding this feature back into New Outlook very soon.

Disappointed this is still not available.
Clearly it's in demand and it's a massive pain having all your shared inboxes hidden at the bottom!!

... not only hidden but they all collapse every time you swap to a different tab so they are actively hiding themselves constantly!

To anyone posting the 'ole, "Microsoft says they will have this fixed on 'fill-in-the-blank date', so quit worrying", the OP posted this in April of 2023! MS has been giving us dates for over a year and constantly moving the finish line. At this point, I've had it. I've gone back to the old Outlook and not moving to the new until my company forces my hand. I gave it the old college try for several months but kept missing crucial emails to mailboxes I am monitoring. This is a bad look.

Summary Microsoft Outlook will soon allow users to add shared folders to Favorites. When this will happen:

Targeted Release: We will begin rolling out early November 2024 (previously early October) and expect to complete by early December 2024 (previously early November). 

General Availability (Worldwide, GCC, GCC High, DoD): We will begin rolling out mid-December 2024 (previously mid-November) and expect to complete by early January 2025 (previously early December) 

How this will affect your organization:

This new functionality will enable users to add shared folders and individual folders from shared mailboxes to their Favorites. This means that users can easily access important folders from shared resources or individual colleagues, directly from their Favorites. Users can share calendars, or folders that contain mail, contacts, tasks, or notes.

What you need to do to prepare:

This rollout will happen automatically by the specified date with no admin action required before the rollout. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation as appropriate.

I have the same issue; from multiple shared mailboxes, I can not add Inbox or Sendbox to my favorites.
