Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Totaly ridiculous that this function was not there from the start. It's a basic one.
This affects about 80% of the tenants/customer that we have as partners.

Hi,
I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?
Thanks for your help.

Please, we need this in our company. Our support mail is a shared mail folder, and now it is collapsed and hidden...
Same issue - we really need to see the Inbox for the shared email in the favorites as that's how we can see in a glance if any new emails have come in. Any updates on this Microsoft?
Thanks
Possible bandaid?
Create a subfolder in the main email account you use, start it with AA-"name" so that it appears at the top of the folder list in favorites.
Then go to the email account you want emails forwarded from, set up a rule that all emails get forwarded to the main account. Then in the main account set up a rule that all emails from the other account get moved to this new subfolder you created.
You can move the subfolders up into Favorites this way and make it "look" like another inbox folder.
Hope this makes sense, because it's working for me. You don't have full functionality of the account but at least you can monitor all new emails from multiple accounts this way
I'm just here to add my voice to the chorus of people requesting that this basic feature be added. This is vital for my and my companies workflow.
For the time being I will need to go back to the classic version.
Otherwise, the new version is great.
Actually... I needed to edit this because yet ANOTHER basic feature is gone. You can't empty the deleted items folder of shared mailboxes either. There is no option to do so when you right click.
