Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

Hi,

I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

Thanks for your help.

    Hi Dan,

It doesn't work for me neither. On favorites I can only add some of my own inbox folder (from my user account) and some categories, but not inbox folders of other shared mailboxes accounts.

the shared mailboxes appear now under this folder "Shared with me". But they cannot be added to favorites, neither with your workaround.

Same. This is a must-have, and a deal breaker for the New Outlook

    Hi,

I've found in the newer Outlook you can add the inbox by using the Add Favourite option at the bottom of the faviourites list however I don't think it works well. I've added two of our shared emails into my favourites but I can't add the "inbox" where as in the old version it was as simple as drag and drop.

Sadly, I'll be going back to the classic version and may try again in a later iteration.

Hope this helps anyone out there...
