Hi,
I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

agree, new outlook sucks. I also need to monitor several shared inboxes and I'm not scrolling all the way down to see these folders. Been a year of end users complaining and Microsoft still won't fix something that should be a legacy item from previous versions. New is not always better. Going back to previous outlook.
It looks like they are working on it.. With a tentative May 2024 release.

As mentioned by many, the option to add a shared inbox to the favourites is missing.
I rolled-back to the old version because of this, indeed it is a dealbreaker for the new Outlook.
Not only for myself, but also for many of my customers (I work as a consultant and program manager to support organizations in the implementation of M365 or other Move2 Cloud projects). Most organizations have a lot of shared mailboxes and they are critical for the execution of their business processes too. This wil be a deal-breaker for many organizations and for now I will advise them not to move to the new Outlook yet.

Please do anything you can to make this feature come back. It is a game changer to have the folders from shared mailboxes in my Favorites since I have to use so many shared mailboxes and it takes too much time to go looking for the folders I need. I wish the conveniences would stop going away. It's making it harder to work, not easier.
