Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

Has there been any update on this issue?

I second this update request as well.
This topic has been open for a long time, and should not be so difficult to solve...

Please can we add the ability to view shared mailboxes from the Favorites area at the top of the folder tree. Its pointless having it near the bottom.

New version unusable until this is fixed. Swapping back to old version.

Thank you, I have left multiple feedback requests - as these are my thoughts on the lack of carrying this feature over to the new app:
The new outlook app provides no option to add "shared mailboxes" to Favorites. This is quite an oversight and one that will need to be fixed if I ever want to use the new Outlook app. How are people supposed to monitor shared mailboxes without being able to easily see there are unread emails? Do you expect us to sporadically check in on these mailboxes by clicking through the cumbersome hierarchy of dropdowns/folders to find them? Please fix this.

I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

I 100% agree.

I was starting to notice that the old Microsoft outlook was starting to glitch and lag even though my storage was low. The IT department suggested it could be because Microsoft isn't supporting the old version as much anymore, and suggested I switch to the new version. (thoughts on this?)

It took me 10 minutes to switch back to the old version as I couldn't put shared inboxes underneath "favourites". Remembering to go, find and check them periodically is unrealistic.

Please update the new outlook to include this feature.
