Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Same issue. This definitely needs to be added to the "new" Outlook.
This browser is no longer supported.

Hi,
I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?
Thanks for your help.

We have the same problem. It'is a big problem because people that use shared mailbox can't view the shared Inbox on top.
Hopefully Microsoft will add this feature in the final release of the new Outlook.
I have the same problem as well. Hopefully Microsoft will add this feature in the final release of the new Outlook and not simply remove this feature like they seem to have liked doing on some of their recent product releases.
Dear SantiGM_200,
Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.
Based on your description, I understand that you have a query on adding a shared mailbox folder to favorites in the New Outlook.
After thorough tests and consults from my end, it’s been concluded that this option is indeed not available for now. I do understand your need for this and we do apologize if we are not able to meet your requirements. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will surely raise you concerns to our Product Team and hopefully this can be included in the future updates.
However, the new Outlook is still a work in progress and is still at the preview stage. There's therefore room for improvement. If you don't mind, please provide feedback on this feature request by Contact support and provide feedback within the new Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Support or creating a new post in the Feedback Portal at Outlook · Community (microsoft.com), Microsoft is committed to enhancing the customer experience by continually examining suggestions to include in the design and development of future product upgrades based on your suggestions.
Your kind understanding is highly appreciated. Thank you for your cooperation.
Thank you for your precious time and kind understanding.
Best Regards,
Ashraf
