Hi,
I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

In 2023 you acknowledged that we not able to move shared inbox to favourites. Question now in 2025, is this feature available yet?
This is critical in my business as the teams work on shared mailboxes to service our clients

You are likely cotrrect, however it only gives me one choice, doesn't give any indication if it is a contact or a folder. Makes sense why I couldn't figure out what it was showing me. The functionality still appears as useful as not having it at all. Why they didn't simply add a menu option for 'add to favourites' from the 3 dot menu that appears when highlight on folder. That would be clear. Sure I read that was the plan to address this, but seems that has not been followed.
New Outlook allows me to add the shared mailbox to my favorites, but what I really need to do is just add the inbox from my shared mailbox to my favorites as it have all of the Categories we use within the shared mailbox. Can this be added?
You're likely adding the 'contact' rather than the shared mailbox. This is not the same. The contact shows sent/received messages for that contact, not the items in the shared mailbox inbox.
This option is as useless as not having it at all. Cannot add the 'Inbox' so cannot see unread email displayed in the list quickly/easily. Also when selecting, no way to select the inbox in the view. Unsure who thought this was a solution that is anywhere near the fully functional facility that is available in legacy Outlook. Seems there is no actual thought process gone into this. Not impressed. 2 years of waiting for this and still unuseable. Thanks Microsoft for completely missing the point...again.
