Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

Hi,

I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

Thanks for your help.

Looking Promising, but unfortunately seems we will still be unable to switch. The new Outlook doesn't allow multiple 365 mailboxes on one Profile (as Legacy Outlook does). It reports 'The email address provided isn't an alias of the account.' so no workaround that way for Inboxes managed by 'delegates' (if true this 'Add to Favourites' is only applicable to Shared Fodlers.)

You can now (with the new version) add the inbox of a shared mailbox to favourites. Clicking on the three dots to the right of the inbox folder name and then clicking 'Add to Favourites'. There appears to be a caveat though, the shared mailbox MUST be an actual 'Shared' mailbox, and not simply a 'User' Mailbox that you have access rights to (even though they will both show under the 'Shared with me' folder.

If its not working for you, check you have the latest version, this is a targeted release though so it may be that it just hasnt hit you yet. One thing that did arise, once the new version installed we could no longer run new and classic outlook (the icons are still there, but both now load the new - and to get to classic we had to toggle back).

First two are actual mailboxes, next 3 are all shared mailboxes (denoted by the small figure bottom right of the folder)

Dude, soon your comment will have 2 years, there is still no option to add shared inbox to favorites in place.

This is "very bad" that you force the new look on everyone and yet it misses the basic functionality.

I need to see what emails arrive at the shared mailbox, and your email app doesn't allow me to do it without an extra 5 clicks.

I dunno what do you use Outlook, at Microsoft, for, but the rest of us need to see when a new email arrives.

How many more years do you need to fix it?

Apparently my company has just decided to simply disable the new version for now.

I'm assuming too many people keep switching back and forth to try and figure out if this is finally working or not.
