Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

Replying to this almost a year later, and the feature is still missing. I almost missed some critical communication on a shared distribution list for my job.

@Microsoft, PLEASE add this feature back into the new version of Outlook. This is a much-needed job aid for my work.

We use 3 shared mailboxes. I switched to new Outlook but the only reason I need to go back to the classic one is that i cant move shared mailbox's inbox in my favouries. I am hoping Microsoft Add this feature in final release.

So no more extra licences to buy just like now but with permissions on that shared folder (which you should already have as you use it now in the same way with old outlook) ?

Because they say "added as accounts". A shared folder , for me, is not an account because an account means license and credentials.

As someone else pointed out, this has been discussed and is in theory on the roadmap for July of this year. There were concerns on what it meant by Users Credentials but this was subsequently clarified to mean that the user must have an active 365 account in order to be able to access the shared mailbox and have been granted permissions (which is in fairness what you would expect)

Our whole company can't change to the new outlook cause this basic feature is missing.

How little can you know your customers to not install something like this?

Or will there soon be some stupid Premium Plus subscription money grabbing version where something like this is built in?
