Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

Hi,

I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

Thanks for your help.

We're able to stop it? We have customers now that are being forced over to new outlook (trying to open classic will just take them to new) - the functionality for shared folders to favorites is still not there.

Unfortunately this issue will prevent our organization from adopting the "New Outlook" until resolved.

And in September 2024 we still can't do this, but Microsoft are still trying to push use to use the new version.

Same here!! We pay $360/year for Copilot for Microsoft 365 and can't use the Outlook features because Microsoft can't figure out an EXTREMELY SIMPLE feature that was included in Outlook for years! MICROSOFT - Please add the ability to pin shared mailboxes to Favorites!!! This is ridiculous. You probably need to reevaluate some of the employees on the Outlook and Office engineering teams if you can't figure out this simple feature. I'm not sure why this isn't a priority. 🤬

I reverted back to the original Outlook application due to this problem - however, now I have Copilot I need to use the new Outlook, but managing 17 shared folders is proving to be so inefficient.

I need to know at a glance how many unread messages are in 4 of the mailboxes and it is taking too much time to expand the shared with you folder and then each individual mailboxes.

Like the switch to new groups functionality, it would be OK if we could have an icon for shared mailboxes and could switch to that when managing multiple email accounts.
