Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

Hi,

I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

    Hi Everyone,

    I am not on the targeted release but have now got the feature which is great, however as with everything its not perfect, i have come across an issue which is when adding the shared inbox as a favourite if you have any sub folders to that inbox i have been unable to see then as the drop down icon from the inbox disappears however, what i have done is added all of the sub folders i use the most to my favourites first then added the shared inbox which has worked fine, however as i manage multiple inboxes i have had to select this feature for the highest priority inboxes. i have reported the bug to Microsoft so maybe in a couple of years time it might be working.

    Please add this feature to new outlook soon! I really miss it from the old outlook.

    It's no longer a work in progress as opening any version of outlook forces me into "new". Why is it still not available?

    How can you provide functionality and then take it away? I need my shred folders in view without having to dig into the account and look. What is the fix. I need it now. You don't wait for me to pay my bill.... cmon - I am self employed and no one paying my salary. Who is paying yours?

    Hello all,

    I have been following this issue since the beginning. A very LONG wait, but perhaps the wait is coming to an end for all.

    At least for my version of the New Outlook, I can now add Shared Mailbox folders to my Favorites. However, I am on a the Targeted Release.

    I have been testing for the last week before posting this update and it is working properly. Hopefully this feature will be released to all in the near future.

    Even if that update ever hits me, I don't consider this as much of an end to the wait.
    I consider this to be just the patch needed to keep being able to use Outlook as an application.

    Until I can properly access my shared mailboxes as I would other mailboxes, I'd rather switch to the web version, which has none of the issues I've been having with the new application so far.
