Add folder from a shared mailbox to favorites

Hi,

I am using the "new" Outlook for Windows. It seems that it is no longer possible to move a folder from a shared mailbox to the favorites folder. This used to be possible in the "old" version. Is this feature gone or am I overlooking something?

Thanks for your help.

If you don't want to or can't change the admin settings you can have a look at Use a registry command to install Microsoft 365 Insider on Windows devices - Microsoft 365 Insider | Microsoft Learn

Hi, There is a solution in the earlier part of this post by Jon Haus (think it was mentioned before this too), you need to enable 'targeted releases' and then install all of the Windows Updates and feature packs and reboot. I have done this and it works really well and I can add shortcuts to my shared mailboxes :)

Again more than 2 years after the first post here, this very simple and basic feature has not been re-added to new outlook. Microsoft, this is disgraceful
