How to view the to-do bar in the new outlook? It is convenient to have the work-day calendar (and/or to-do list) on the side while responding to emails.

For anyone else looking, the To Do is (at least as of now) in the New Outlook view. In the upper right area near the close/minimize/maximize buttosn there's a calendar and checkmark icon next to the notification bell. Hit that and it opens a calendar/to do pane.

Thaks for the info. This is very disappointing because I just recently migrated all my task lists to the To Do app on the iPhone away from Apple's Reminders app. The To Do app synced nicely with the old Outlook. Now I need to start over!
P.S. - I do not use the iOS version of Outlook on my phone or iPad because when you read any email such as a newsletter and click on an external link and then come back to the email, you land at the beginning of the email rather than where you left off. Very time wasting. Apple's mail takes you back to where you clicked on the link.
It's true - Microsoft giveth then Microsoft taketh? Their "updates" make for a less efficient environment. Everything requires more navigation, more clicks, more hunting, googling, youtubeing, to find someone that's spent their time to find stuff for us, only to find in the end, that it just doesn't do what it was capable of doing. Are the new developers just not as proficient as the old ones, too much time on tic-toc and not enough time studying and coding. Sigh.
