I also want to see the "to do tasks" on my main Outlook view, plus be able to drag emails into that task list easier. The only way I can do this on new Outlook that made sense was to use the to do "tick" but that just opens up a web page, a bit like the mobile Outlook where it is two separate pieces of software, linked but not usable together. I have gone back to old Outlook as I feared missing out on a task with it disappeared from view. Bad move guys!

I can only agree to so many others here. The Task view as it worked before the New Outlook is fantastic and is my primary way of drag+dropping emails and flagging and finishing tasks to plan my work-day. It also allows for easy sorting of the emails with the categories option so I can mark which are high/low priority. The new ToDo/tasks lacks so many of these functionalities and ends up being useless to me. I, like many others, will revert back to the previous version until this is sorted, can't use it like it is now.

For anyone else looking, the To Do is (at least as of now) in the New Outlook view. In the upper right area near the close/minimize/maximize buttosn there's a calendar and checkmark icon next to the notification bell. Hit that and it opens a calendar/to do pane.

When I do that, I only see "Calendar". There is no "To Do" listed next to it. Can't find it anywhere. Please advise. (see below)
