Outlook App opening a browser Tab

While using the Outlook App on Windows 10, Creating a new event in Calendar, and ONLY when selecting Invite Attendees button, Outlook will open a tab in my browser that does nothing but have the outlook logo.

Hey Kaitlyn, people in our organization are experiencing this same issue. We did find that enabling OWA on affected accounts seems to get the issue to go away, but this is not a great workaround from a security standpoint. Has Microsoft given you any update on this?

I am having the same issue in my org but our users have Microsoft 365 apps for business installed. Only impacting 2 users for now and we also block OWA. If I enable OWA for the user, the issue goes away.

Very annoying issue. Re-installed O365 and still same issue. I am finishing nothing online as a solution at this moment.

We are seeing the same pop up issue with some of our users. Started with one person but now having multiple people report that when they click on a calendar event in the Outlook desktop app it opens a browser window to the Office 365 login page. They can still edit calendar events but no idea why the browser window is opening, no users have access to OWA
