While using the Outlook App on Windows 10, Creating a new event in Calendar, and ONLY when selecting Invite Attendees button, Outlook will open a tab in my browser that does nothing but have the outlook logo.

I was having the same issue with one particular user. I downloaded and ran demo Malwarebytes version, and it removed a setting in the users Chrome - User Data - Default - Preferences folder. After that setting was eliminated, no more pop-up browser page when Outlook starts.
Do we know if a fix has been released?

Sorry - Only Troubleshooting steps I received from my ticket with Microsoft have been to Revert office version and change default browser. We have also started getting users with Calendar issues beyond this browser windows opening that has not been solved - inability to type consistently or copy and paste into the meeting invite windows. These users are users with the browser window opening as well.
Unfortunately, that did not work for me.
