Text disappears or distorted while typing on Outlook (Office 365)

This has been an issue for a while. I'm using Outlook as part of Office 365 on my desktop, Dell XPS 8950. While writing an email, all of sudden, text disappears or gets distorted (e.g., some part of the text is shown and the other part is not). After scrolling up and down the mouse wheel, it usually returns to normal.

I've searched for a solution and found almost all suggested solutions say that I need to disable "overtype mode" as below. However, both options were already unchecked but the issue does not go away.

If you know other causes or solutions, please let me know. This is really annoying and refuses to go away. If standalone Outlook (e.g., Office 2021) does not have this issue, please let me know. Thanks.

    I believe it is definitely a "Micro$oft problem" since it affects systems equipped with both NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards. Seems like they don't care enough about it to fix it. It's unfortunate we do not see better product support for an application suite as expensive as Office. It doesn't seem to be on their list of priorities.

    This set of tweaks seems to work on my system. Finally..... the "text glitch" appears every once in awhile still, but I would say this solution was 99% effective.

    I've found a "work-around" on reddit that fixed this issue on my nvidia and AMD desktop

    On the nvidia panel, Go to program settings, under Manage 3D settings, select Microsoft Word/Microsoft Outlook and other 365 app you're using with this problem

    Search the "Low latency Mode" option, and put it to "On"

    Restart your application, and it should be fixed

    Its the same things with AMD, the option is called "Anti-Lag"

    This is definitely an issue in laptops as well. I've been having it since I received a new HP Z-book laptop with a fresh install of Outlook.

    This fix seems to work on my PC.

    I still experienced few glitches but they are infinitely less frequent and sever than before so it seems to be the solution!
