This is conceivable. I've been using Apple and iCloud for the last 15 years. For some time I wanted to check how to work on WIN 11. For mail and contacts, I chose Outlook in 365.
Something bad happened in the contact database and I had to delete them all to upload new ones. I had almost 3000 of them and now attention:
To do this, you need to delete them with 10 pcs. !
Then, to delete them from the deleted folder, you need to delete with 50 pcs.
It is unlikely that it lacks such basic features that have been present for a long time in google and iCloud.
Can anyone answer the question why this is so?

The closest to a solution. but i am also stuck with a 50 limit. Bummer. But good experimenting. The delete is still greyed out once i select more than 50. You can use your <SHIFT> key with your cursor on a range on apple to select a group to delete.
what would microsoft have to lose here other than customers? am i missing why they dont address this? are they worried about idiots who accidentally delete contacts? then just add a confirm step...
This process worked perfectly. Thank you!
