Organizing and accessing contact information in Outlook.com
Really annoying. Microsoft need to create a de duplication system. I’m switching to Zoho or at least gmail allows the removal and merging of duplicates. Outlook is way behind.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
This is conceivable. I've been using Apple and iCloud for the last 15 years. For some time I wanted to check how to work on WIN 11. For mail and contacts, I chose Outlook in 365.
Something bad happened in the contact database and I had to delete them all to upload new ones. I had almost 3000 of them and now attention:
To do this, you need to delete them with 10 pcs. !
Then, to delete them from the deleted folder, you need to delete with 50 pcs.
It is unlikely that it lacks such basic features that have been present for a long time in google and iCloud.
Can anyone answer the question why this is so?

Is this a joke ? I tried to delete 3400 contacts with a lot of patient, 50 contacts per delete, then 10 contacts per delete.
This started because there is a problem with double and triple entry contacts.
Next day i logged in and the contacts where still there. Please fix this, it is extremelly dificult to use and very annoying.
OMG - he just told you how to delete ALL of your Contacts not duplicates!!!
Sorry to hear that. Worked for me with 2,700. Perhaps a volume issue?
Perhaps try again with a smaller test batch to check procedure?
Didn't work. Once I launched the New Outlook after completing all your steps on the Classic Outlook, all my previous duplicates were still there -- nearly 10,000 of them!
