how to delete more than 10 contacts in outlook 365, how to delete more than 50 contacts in outlook 365

This is conceivable. I've been using Apple and iCloud for the last 15 years. For some time I wanted to check how to work on WIN 11. For mail and contacts, I chose Outlook in 365.

Something bad happened in the contact database and I had to delete them all to upload new ones. I had almost 3000 of them and now attention:

To do this, you need to delete them with 10 pcs. !

Then, to delete them from the deleted folder, you need to delete with 50 pcs.

It is unlikely that it lacks such basic features that have been present for a long time in google and iCloud.

Can anyone answer the question why this is so?

    Easy fix if you can:

Revert back to the old version of outlook and delete. It will sync to 0 in the new version and you can start over or upload what you want!

I do not work for microsoft but this worked for me.

This is what I'm facing, too. Terrible coding in Link to Windows results in about 600 contacts being over 20000 instead, with many duplicates all tagged with "(contacts synced by Link to Windows)". There should be an easy way to delete all of them, but nope. Just criminal. Microsoft should have to compensate all of us for the time it will take to recovery from this bug.

    Same problem here.

I have 3,909 contacts that are messed up and to delete them will take me only three days versus the week that it will take the gentleman with 22,000.

The lack of having a feature to DELETE ALL or DELETE ALL SELECTED is absolutely inconceivable.

And the lack of the MS Admin here to provide a workaround since this issue was first raised more than two months ago... I'm 59 and haven't been this frustrated with something computer-related since I first sat down in front of one.

    Please please fix this, MS.

I am so upset with MS.

    I have the same problem.

Please implement as fast as possible in the new version of outlook.com (private) the option to delete MORE then 10 contacts.

Crazy that the developers limited this to 10.

I have the same issue. My contact list grew when using link to windows and I went from a small list of contacts about 50 to now 22,000.

Deleting 10 at a time is going to take days if not weeks because Microsofts bad programming with link to windows. All the new contacts that are duplicated have (contacts synced by Link to Windows) and destroyed my phone and contact lists.

Not happy with only being able to delete 10 at a time
