Organizing and accessing contact information in Outlook.com
BRILLIANT. This worked for me. Over 6000 deleted at once from three contacts books. Had to refresh a few times.
MANY MANY MANY thanks!
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
This is conceivable. I've been using Apple and iCloud for the last 15 years. For some time I wanted to check how to work on WIN 11. For mail and contacts, I chose Outlook in 365.
Something bad happened in the contact database and I had to delete them all to upload new ones. I had almost 3000 of them and now attention:
To do this, you need to delete them with 10 pcs. !
Then, to delete them from the deleted folder, you need to delete with 50 pcs.
It is unlikely that it lacks such basic features that have been present for a long time in google and iCloud.
Can anyone answer the question why this is so?

Strange, I was able to delete 67 contacts at once.
Glad it helped you, a little :D
Hello guys,
I was going through same issue and managed to solve it. Posting here for anyone still looking for an answer to this super frustrating issue.
https://imgtr.ee/images/2024/02/29/90f569c27dfc1961561678ffe26aa67d.png Look at top left corner in above image, there is an option "New Contacts" circled in red color. When that option is ON, then I dont see "delete" option for more than 10 selected contacts.

Note : Make sure to refresh page once before you turn off "New Contacts". Weirdly it does not work sometimes, so refreshing page is sure shot way to make it work
why is Microsoft so insecure? already dominating office apps still not enough? gotta make it so difficult for users to do some housekeeping.. Google/Samsung/Apple and many others not so insecure.. only Microsoft.. jeez
