IN THE OLDER VERSION OF OUT LOOK I COULD MAKE A QUICK STEP TO SEND A NEW EMAIL TO CERTAIN PEOPLE AND PUT ALL THE INFO OF THE BODYS IN SAID QUICKSTEP . I NO LONGER SEE THAT OPTION TO CREATE A NEW EMAIL UNDER THE RESPONSE TAB IN THE NEW OUTLOOK. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP AS I USE THIS ON A DAILY BASIS?

Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management

Send new email is one of the most important features of quick steps, in fact it's the only one I use, with several separate groups to email.
Can you give directions on how you use that?

In Classic Outlook, I set up several quicksteps which were all 'send new email' to different groups, because 'send new email' was one of the options. I pre-entered the email addresses for each group (usually as Bcc) in the quicksteps and gave each one a separate name, like Family or Newsletter. Once done, it was just a matter of a click, possibly a quick scroll through the list first, to send a batch of emails. Because New Outlook doesn't have 'send new email' as an option and doesn't import my old quicksteps, I can't do this any longer, but anyone who has a workable version of Classic Outlook from the past several years can and I recommend it--but paste all of these lists of names and email addresses into a document somewhere for the day when your Classic stops working.
The irony is that years ago I used groups in the address app for the same purpose and was furious when that stopped working, until someone told me about quicksteps. And now, while my old groups still show up in the address/people app, they are out of date and I've spent too much time today finding recently sent emails to check the names and addresses and edit the old groups.
Pro tip: MS tells you to click on the group and then 'send email', which is ok unless you need Bcc for the addresses. In that case, start with a regular new email and click inside the Bcc line where the option of specifying a group should pop up. I don't know the procedure for setting a Bcc line as a default in New Outlook.
I didn't want to change, but first my Classic could only be opened in safe mode and now I can't open it at all, even with the switching button in New Outlook. I am not happy with MS right now.
This is a very important tool for me too as I send many emails usually with the same body, so have to copy and paste it from word or retype is very time consuming.
