'File' and other toolbars in new Outlook 2023

Hello - I am trying to find more of the options that the old outlook has that the new one doesnt seem to have. I keep reading when I go to the gear (Settings) in the top right and click on this and then click on the account I want to manage there should be an option of 'View Outlook Settings'. This is not there for me. I cannot seem to locate 'View Outlook Settings' anywhere in the new outlook. I am trying to find the import and export option and cannot locate this.

I keep trying to set up a email account on outlook and there is no file button on that page. This is getting crazy. I'm a home user and windows is stopping with their email and saying to go over to outlook but no matter what I do it won't let me do it.

Good luck. New Outlook is Outlook on the web in an app framework and does not have many of the options available in Office Outlook for Windows.

This is non-existent in the new Outlook at this time, at least for email. Calendar and contacts have import/export options on the ribbon.

You should still have the gear - but it's also accessible via the View tab > View Settings button.

I have the same issue/concern - trying to print contacts (table format) and am unable to figure out how to do this in the new Outlook. Even "Help" says to use File-Print, but then there is no File option to select.

Yes this my first (serious) time using Outlook. I have aways used Windows Live Mailon my old PC. This is a new PC with Microsoft 365 Family. Screen shot attached
