Workaround for Outlook.com users experiencing duplicate Contacts after enabling Contact Sync in Teams App

If you are a Microsoft personal account user and have either Teams and Outlook apps installed (and Contact sync enabled in both) or the Phone Link installed, you might observe duplicate contacts in Outlook due to a recent issue with contact synchronization. You can use the below workaround to remove the device synced contacts and all the duplicates created by this issue. 

How to Delete Device Contacts Sub-Folder1. Go to Teams App on your mobile device (iOS or Android).1.   • We will publish an update once the fix is available, after which users can re-enable the “Sync my device contacts” toggle in Teams.

    Hotmail (Outlook) mail service has been inaccessible on my Windows laptop since Monday afternoon (June 19). Can't access Outlook at all... just get an error message that says server unavailable.

    Strangely, I do get sporadic Outlook mail on my Android phone.

    As far as I know, I am not using or synced to Microsoft Teams.

    Anyone know what's actually going on, or how to fix this?

    I previously had a storage issue and significantly reduced the amount of GBs however I cannot receive any emails asides from Microsoft. I have tried unblocking my account but none of emails have been imported for the past month, I don't use Teams but this is extremely stressful.

    I am unable to access to my personal email, I keep getting error 500: something unexpected went wrong. I am not sure what's the issue, I have tried deleting my cookies and cache, opening my email from a different browser, opening my email from a different device and the results are all the same. Is is a problem from Microsoft's end or from my end?
