Workaround for Outlook.com users experiencing duplicate Contacts after enabling Contact Sync in Teams App

If you are a Microsoft personal account user and have either Teams and Outlook apps installed (and Contact sync enabled in both) or the Phone Link installed, you might observe duplicate contacts in Outlook due to a recent issue with contact synchronization. You can use the below workaround to remove the device synced contacts and all the duplicates created by this issue. 

How to Delete Device Contacts Sub-Folder1. Go to Teams App on your mobile device (iOS or Android).1.   • We will publish an update once the fix is available, after which users can re-enable the “Sync my device contacts” toggle in Teams.

    I have two outlook accounts and I can only get into one of them. There use to be a dropdown that would let me highlight with outlook account I want to go on to. Now I am stuck in one and can not see my other account. My client is not happy that I can not lock in. Please send me a solution

    I cannot access to my Outlook account also does not show me “Sync my device contacts” in Teams app just shows me blocked contacts.

    Starting today 6/7 (now 6/8 on the east coast), I cannot successfully login to my hotmail account - the web page freezes at the blue envelope symbol without opening. I don't believe that it is this duplicate contacts issue (just started today!) - and I've checked and enabled all scripts to function in the uMatrix add-on to Firefox.
