If you are a Microsoft personal account user and have either Teams and Outlook apps installed (and Contact sync enabled in both) or the Phone Link installed, you might observe duplicate contacts in Outlook due to a recent issue with contact synchronization. You can use the below workaround to remove the device synced contacts and all the duplicates created by this issue.

Hello, it’s hard to get help through your website, I have issue with my hotmail account which I keep receiving email from your team that you don’t have permission to sync my email, and the introduction you mention in your email doesn’t work, and now I need help very urgently, please offer the solution, thanks
I believe this is a Microsoft problem, and it has something to do with Windows. I can access my Outlook mail (at least sporadically) on an Android phone, and new mail (mostly spam) is still coming into my Outlook account. But Outlook on my Windows PC comes back with an error message... server can't be accessed.
Microsoft got hacked in early June... a Denial of Service attack. I suspect that the damage done was much greater than Microsoft has let on, and the access to Outlook problems stem from that. The "Teams" contact synching excuse is a bunch of ****.
I've been unable to access my Outlook account on my PC since AM, June 20. If you can believe Microsoft, they might not fix the problem until at least July 11.
My only suggestion is to try to access your account with a non-Windows device.
I have the same issue on my Macbook. Please guide me on how to fix it.

I too have not been able to access my hotmail account today. I have been trying for the past 3 hours and always get the same
error message 500:
500 Something went wrong. An unexpected error occurred and your request couldn't be handled.
I have refreshed the page, deleted cookies and cache, logged out, nothing is helping.
Very frustrating. Don't know what to do now.
Suddenly from today morning I am unable to open my microsoft email account. Please help at the earliest. Once solved please respond to my alternate email id
