No preview option or Save As options is unusable. Forcing every item to "download" folder is crazy. Messy and the opposite of organized.
New O365 seems to have lost most>all basic functionality and what is left requires multiple keystrokes and clicking around to accomplish what was effortless in previous MS Outlook.
Like a stripped down version created to cater to phones/tablets and other dumbed down devices, not what is required in professional workplace scenarios.
Many other apps are slipping this way... using large cards format wasting screen space and requiring extra efforts to navigate and complete tasks. Juvenile graphics, large animated icons and Shockingly ineffective waste of valuable screen space.
Not being "allowed" to select how we view our emails/forced reading pane and unable to auto open emails in separate windows or select our preferred download or preview options is a deal-breaker for me. Switched back to prior version and will check back every few weeks, but not optimistics. Firefox browser tried this recently and at least offers a workaround to edit back to what we need and that is a FREE APP. I wouldn't mind providing feedback via that new outlook app, but unable to use as daily app in it's current state so unlikely to leave feedback as I continue to use previous version. We should not have to petition in large numbers to represent subscribers who prefer adult/business professional versions of legacy apps that we NEED.
Even this "community board" where we are constantly advised by MS staff to provide separate feedback as if we must send individual begging petitions to notify?
Why are the MS staff who are replying/monitoring NOT forwarding and notifying of issues/comments on our behalf, as if they all work for the same team.
Once these functionalities are corrected or enhanced in new version, will be awesome.
