"All Inboxes" setting for the new Outlook that is part of Windows 11 (not Office)

Then again, I'm guessing MS have 'telemetry' saying a majority of people don't have multiple email accounts, which might be right but then they will be on gmail anyway.

I think most people that don't have multiple email accounts don't really use something like outlook... if you only got one email (most of the time gmail), you just use gmail on the phone.

I think most people that use outlook (or the previous mail for windows) need some kind of email client for more than one email account.

If they don't implement this they will lose a lot of people

I have just been invited to use the replacement to mail and with no unified boxes I will not be using it until it is forced on us. I will then probably pay for an email client that does give you that choice.

Most people these days especially those who work from home have unified accounts for business and personal reasons.

Wake up Microsoft you are so far behind on unified email boxes.

I personally have 5 different emails address' as I run websites and need a different one for each so I know where the emails are coming from.

This is why Microsoft has such a terrible reputation. They create their own problems over and over again. Once they created the proprietary "Microsoft Exchange" protocol for email, it screwed up the ability to have a consolidated inbox....

Why is this? I´m not familiar with the Exchange-protocol in detail. All I know is that it exists, but not sure how it makes it impossible to have an consolidated inbox. Feel free to explain (I´m eager to know more!) if you got the time. :)

Mailbird is good but I advise against buying their "Lifetime License". I bought a lifetime license a few years ago and they have recently released a new version (V3.0) and they are telling me that a "lifetime license" is only good until the next version comes out.
