Can you print a draft email in the New Outlook?

As per other replies, there is no such option in the latest version as of 17-Nov-2023 to print a draft in the New Outlook for Windows 11 (NOT the Outlook app part of Office).

Many times it is required to print a draft for a slew of reasons and so any argument of a draft being an incomplete email, is unacceptable.

Please advise.

Thankyou for your reply. My need to print a Draft, is that when preparing an email in the Draft form all tabs appear to be fine. I swap between closing the draft and reopening it several times, to make sure that the message is 'tidy'. However, something seems to happen when 'send' is activated. As when I recheck the email in the 'Send' box, the tabs have moved out of line, and the receiver has ended up with a very unprofessional message. It seems the only way I can be sure of the message looking OK is to prepare firstly a Word document, and then attach that as a File. This can be time consuming for both parties. Hence my query, as I thought if I could print a copy of the Draft message, I would be assured that all would be OK. If you can offer any solution to the dilemma of the changed appearance of the Draft to that of the Sent message it would be helpful. This has only started to happed since the recent changes to the Mail App [Blue Envelope on the Tool Bar].

NO - the printing option does NOT WORK in the NEW OUTLOOK VERSION of November 2023.

We wanted to print a draft email from the draft folder and the printing button is desactivated.

And there is no way to activate the printing button and to print a draft email.

Such basics must work also in the new version and needs to be corrected.

Meanwhile, we are moving back to the older Outlook version on which the printing is working fine.

Exactly the same problem still today 23 of November 2023.

With the new outlook verison it is impossible to simply print an email draft.

I guess either the programmers forgot this option or it was for a stupid purpose.

But it should be changed and corrected to be able to print.

Another issue is that many options for email appearance has taken off from the mini menu.. why? Because Microsoft consider to address only to some stupid basic users???

Our organization has to swtich back to the old outlook version to be able to work properly.

I read an article recently, which indicated the ability to print 'draft' emails was removed, to avoid confusion, if/when a 'draft email' was provided as proof of an official email.

Could this be overcome easily with 'tech gurus' adding a watermark on the draft message, while the message retained 'draft' status but, be immediately cancelled when the 'send' button was exercised?

I have also tried preparing a Word document with the Message prepared as required, but even when that text was copied and pasted into an email, the format and/or layout was not replicated.

Maybe with sufficient 'discussion' there could be modifications made to address this frustrating problem.
